Watch our Australian athletes create history and be transported to the heart of Beijing to join in the excitement of this year’s games during the live telecast from the big screens at Waterfront City, Docklands.

Soak up the games’ atmosphere at Waterfront City from Friday, 8 August to Sunday 24, August from 7am to midnight* and join Australia’s athletes in their pursuit of world records and personal bests.  

Cheer on Craig Mottram as he runs for gold in the 5,000 metres long distance run and Grant Hackett as he takes to the pool in search of a third gold medal in the 1,500 metres freestyle.

Waterfront City’s two state-of-the-art LED screens, amongst of the biggest in the Southern Hemisphere, maximise viewing from anywhere within the public area, and will screen Channel Seven’s coverage of the games. The high visibility and the cutting-edge audio system will ensure Waterfront City visitors won’t miss any of the action in Beijing whether in the piazza or one of the restaurants.

Head to Waterfront City with family and friends to witness the defining moments of this year’s games and celebrate our athletes’ success in one of the precincts many bars, cafés and restaurants.
