Circus Sunrise under the Southern Star observation wheel
If you ever felt like running away and joining the circus we’ve got just the circus for you!
Circus Sunrise, the family circus that has a lineage going back to 1648 and beyond, is coming to town. And it’s exactly what a circus should be. Circus Sunrise is composed – entirely – of just two families. It doesn’t claim to be The Greatest Show on Earth.
But what it has that the big circuses don’t have is heart: a palpable love of the ancient business of circus entertainment that sparks the happiest smiles from its audiences. This is circus the way we want it to be. And it’s this that has put Circus Sunrise in Melbourne’s glamorous new circus environment, the new area at Waterfront City, Docklands, There, at the restaurant & cafe area called Star Circus and dominated by the 120 metre high Southern Star observation wheel, you’ll find Circus Sunrise’s Big Top.
Hoopla! Hoopla! Circus Sunrise is in town from Friday 14 November and it will stay there, under the Southern Star observation wheel right through the Christmas and New Year holiday season.
